What MAP services will iconectiv be offering?

iconectiv UK Limited will offer CPs the choice of either the:

  1. Technical MAP Solution - iconectiv UK Limited hosts the solution on AWS and provides Tier 1/2/3 support. CP will onboard and pay prices directly with TOTSCo and contract separately for services with iconectiv.
  2. Full Management MAP Solution – iconectiv UK Limited hosts the solution on AWS, provides Tier 1/2/3 support and is responsible for onboarding the CP with TOTSCo and will pay all prices. CP will contract with iconectiv only.

iconectiv UK Limited will not offer the Insourced MAP solution.

What services are affected and covered by the TOTSCo Hub?

The One Touch Switch process covers residential NBICS (number based interpersonal communications service), aka voice and IAS (internet access service, aka broadband).

How do CPs communicate to the TOTSCo Hub via the Technical and Full Management Solutions?

The iconectiv solution gives CPs the option of both an API and a web-based GUI to manage switching with the TOTSCo Hub.

Where does the software reside if a CP selects the Technical or Full Management Solution?

The software is hosted on AWS in the UK with geographically redundant architecture.

What security features does the iconectiv solution include?

Security is at the heart of every iconectiv communications gateway solution. The MAP solutions are TOTSCo and Ofcom compliant, ISO27001 compliant, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant, and comes with a Data Protection Policy and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plan GUI/Portal access is encrypted and features Role Based Access Control (RBAC).

What other functionality is included with the iconectiv MAP?

All iconectiv MAP solutions includes support for all switching messages, alerts, notifications and errors, CPs can search and filter their switching data via a worklist dashboard that has search and filter capabilities and reporting. In addition, all timers and expiration dates can be checked within the dashboard.

Each iconectiv MAP solution is UK cloud-based and with 24x7 support backed up with a Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plan and a Data Protection Policy.

Will it be necessary for a CP to access both the iconectiv Limited UK MAP and the TOTSCo Hub?

CPs using Technical or Full Management solution do not need an independent connection to the TOTSCo Hub since iconectiv Limited UK is hosting the solution for them.
